Satam has just completed the commissionning of blending metering systems EMS48 Equalis L dedicated to E10 and E05 biofuels preparation on the oil depot of Total Lespinasse (France).

Satam has been supplying complete metering systems EMS48 Equalis equipped with control valves. Furthermore, Satam has validated the Metrology compliance folder according to the European regulation (MID approval).

The flow computer Equalis L receives alcohol and gasoline flowrate measurements and blending ratio value. It controls the alcohol valve opening in order to maintain a constant ratio between the gasoline main flow rate and the alcohol flowrate. The biofuel is then measured by a Satam PD meter during truck loading operations.
